Always in the past the server has approached us from the front of our seats and this time she came and stood behind us. She was very condescending to us and I hope the new server does not learn this attitude. This was worrisome because this was possible the worst server ever experienced here and she was training. This occasion was a lack luster server training a new server. On average I would say you get good service and the food is definitely above typical buttered popcorn of movie theaters. This specific night the service and dining experience were not up to par with previous visits. Most recently we went to the Mockingjay movie here. We have been to the Movie Tavern many times. Making a ton of noise and kicking everything within leg's reach, including the backs of chairs in front of them. and kids LOVE to roll around during the movie.
Half the seats are office-style rolling chairs. One other note: I made a policy to NEVER see a child-focused movie here.
